BEHIND THE LENS​

 

I'm a Northern Utah based photographer. 

 

Growing up, math and science were "my thing." Who would have though there was so much science in photography? I have spent my time applying my engineering background to the photogapher's world. I know how to sculpt light for the most flattering photographs, and importantly, how to keep the human element present.

 

I specialize in bringing elegantly lighted portraits to the outdoors. I use a blended combination of natural and off-camera lighting to make sure the pictures will be perfect, regardless of what it looks like outside. 

 

I'm always willing to go the extra mile for the perfect photo. The bottom picture is me in the middle of a secluded lake right before a hail storm, all just to get the photo I needed.
